Dr. Kavita S. Bhagat is a dedicated and accomplished ophthalmologist, known
for her expertise in anterior chamber surgeries and comprehensive eye care. With
a strong academic foundation and specialized training, she has been serving the
community with compassion and precision since 2013.
Dr. Bhagat completed her MBBS from the esteemed Government Medical College,
Nagpur, and pursued her post-graduation in Ophthalmology at Mahatme Eye
Hospital, Nagpur, under the mentorship of the renowned Padmshree Dr. Vikas
Mahatme. In 2012, she further honed her skills by completing a fellowship in
Phacoemulsification at the Mahatme Institute, Nagpur.
To deepen her expertise, Dr. Bhagat pursued a short-term fellowship in
Pediatric Ophthalmology under the guidance of Dr. Mihir Kothari in Mumbai,
broadening her capabilities to address the unique needs of young patients.
Since beginning her clinical practice in 2013, Dr. Bhagat has been performing a
wide range of anterior chamber surgeries at Bhagat Eye & ENT Hospital, Gondia.
Her proficiency in phacoemulsification and pediatric ophthalmology has made her
